FilmPool is headed by former Major League Baseball player Kenny Lofton and veteran producer/actor Brenton Earley. Their mission is to bring diversity to the silver screen by creating content that moves people while lasting a lifetime.

The inception of Filmpool began early in 2004, in a small storage closet of an apartment in North Hollywood, Ca. By the end of 2004, FilmPool moved into a spacious facility in Hollywood and grew to focus on DVD duplication while adding an edit bay and color correction to bolster their offered services. 

FilmPool aims  to provide clients with concept to delivery services to meet all project needs in a single location. The addition of pre- and post-production has always been the ultimate goal of FilmPool to see projects to fruition with their respective clients

Since 2016, FilmPool has produced projects working with Sony/PureFlix, Lifetime Movie Network (LMN), TV One, Wondrium, and AMC’s ALLBLK.

We have cultivated countless relationships with distribution outlets and sales agents for the exposure of our filmed entertainment projects.

Through humble beginnings, the company has matured into producing content as well as pre- and post-production for film companies. Post-production relationships have been built through completed work with WarnerBros, Sony/PureFlix, Paramount, Saban, and AMC.

FilmPool won the Audience Choice Award in 2016 at the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) for the film “The Fix”, which premiered on AMC’s ALLBLK, and won the Silver Telly Award in 2024 for "Discover West Africa: Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon, with World Wide Nate."

With our state of the art post-production facility, we have the ability to take an idea from concept to delivery.
